Bringing up the Latino voters is really, really important because we forget, and we've talked about it on air here, leading into the Biden election, how much Latinos, these same voters, moved to Donald Trump just a year and a half ago.
They were frustrated.
Maybe the party didn't do as well as they could have done in the valley.
But there was one thing for sure these Latino swing voters had moved towards the Republicans in the presidential year.
The shocking thing is, is James Talon Rico's bringing them back into play in the Democrat.
He did
it in the primary and now he's doing it in the general.
And it's not just in Texas.
We're seeing this across the board, but in Texas it just has a bigger impact because there's more of them.

The one of the biggest differences is that a million Latinos have registered and come of age in the state of Texas since Beto ran for the Senate.

I've been doing campaigns for a long time.
I was baptized in a Baptist church in East Texas.
I'm a born-again Christian and a Democrat.
Sometimes Democrats run away from our faith.
James Tyler Rigo's been leading into his faith and the values that it's taught him as a young man.
And I think that's one of the most unique things about his candidacy.
And to be honest, I think that's what scares the shit out of the Republicans, just to be honest, because they've never dealt with that.
So they want to make him some villain while he's going to stay focused on people's lives.
