I always think like, what are these whether it's a ghost or an alien or something?

I'm like, what are they doing the rest of the time?

Is their entire existence just harassing people?

Um and and some of the best villains, the ones that we really remember that are exciting that are

legendary, let's say like Hannibal Lecter.

Mm-hmm.

Um I can look at Hannibal Lecter and if someone was to be like, okay, write a short story about what Hannibal does when he's not eating people.

The so easy.

We all know that character.

We know his hobbies.

We know like what he's interested in.

And that makes him super, super interesting.

That's why that character is so powerful.

So with Eddie, I just I just thought like I know what his interests are.

And it's also to to kind of bounce off of that even further.

I do find that uh in all stories, but horror as well.

There's a real glut of the same motivation for everyone.

And so I really go out of my way to make sure that my villains have an a motivation that is more interesting than just like

Harming like generalized evil.
