Obviously, our tax rate, obviously our highly educated workforce, our stable political environment, our stable policy backgrounds,
environment or other reasons that the tech companies are here.
There are lots of good reasons.
They do not provide huge numbers of jobs, unlike heavy industries in other countries.
And they're incredibly highly bad for the environment, highly emitting.
They are putting huge strain on our grid.
They are costing ordinary households money.
That has been proved.
Friends of the Earth had a report out a couple of weeks ago about that.
So we have to just balance things.
We have to have a little cost-benefit analysis here and not just let them run roughshod over everything.
Absolutely.
If we had huge amounts of offshore wind coming on stream now that could support the development of these things, then that's... Which we will.
Which we will.
Way behind target, right?
If we were supposed to have five gigawatts of offshore energy by 2030, we're not going to have anything.
We may have some offshore wind in construction by 2030.
That is the plan.
So we are miles off.
So we're not... We are not Luddites in the Labour Party.
