They barely knew each other, but she donated a large portion of her liver to Beckett.

Beckett is now flying.

John Connolly and Beckett Connolly are two of the biggest Galway football fans you'll ever meet.

They flew back from Boston in 2024 for the All-Ireland Final.

I was at the All-Ireland banquet with John and Beckett.

and Beckett getting his photograph taken with Damien Comer and a couple of other Galway footballers that evening was literally the only beautiful thing that happened to me that day so John ran it on behalf of the Dana Farber Institute where Beckett got his successful transplant it's an absolutely unbelievable story at various stages I meant to mention it John is a muggy man
