So whenever he told me that, my words, and as silly as it sounds, I was like, this isn't good, is it?

And he just shook his head and said, no, it's not great.

This is not a good diagnosis, Ciara.

I'm going to refer you to our oncology team.

They're going to be in touch.

And he was like, most likely your treatment path will be chemotherapy immediately because we need to stop the spread.

And going forward, the team will have to then decide if radiotherapy is an option to shrink it, surgery to cut it out.

And so at that moment, I was like, OK, this is I'd say it wasn't until then that it became the biggest blow to me, finding out it was stage four.

I had collected my sister.

I was like, what will I do?

Myra phoned her husband, Martin, to come and pick her up.

She was like, you and Tommy just need to head home.

So Martin waited in the car park.

I dropped Myra down and gave Martin a big hug.

And I was like, look after my big sister because it's not good news.

I got emotional thinking about how upset I made everybody with this diagnosis.
