But I've had people very close to me in my life who have been unable to do things that they want to because of their financial position and because maybe they defer to men in their life.

And then it's really not funny.

And so I know what you're saying because I feel it's funny as well.

But when you see the flip side of it and how dangerous it can be.

that's kind of why I'm I'm not perfect I still make comments someone commented on a video of mine the other day where I'd said something about like girlies and then I'd also referred to men in the video and they'd commented like why have you referred to girlies but then also to men and I was like yeah I actually don't have a

something to say back to that that's a fair comment like why am I almost minimizing women a bit and calling them girlies we're all very agentic women and empowered women but yeah I call them girlies so that that I think I want to catch myself doing it and I do it still now and hopefully I'm getting better and the reason why I'm trying to get better is because I can see down the line the impacts and it can have because that must be a lovely position if you can defer all your financial admin to your husband or your boyfriend and they do everything for you

And I truly hope that you have the most amazing fulfilled relationship and it lasts the whole way.

But what if it doesn't?

And that's the position that you can be in.

And if you have no idea, you know, how to pay your bills, like if you have a pension, if you have a stocks and shares ISA, all that kind of stuff, it takes away your agency.

And that's when it starts to be an issue.

Yeah.

It makes me think of my niece, who's my goddaughter.

She's two going on three and she is just so confident in herself.

And like, sometimes you'll catch her saying things like, I'm great to herself.

And she's so like, honestly, it melts my heart.

I'm great.
