know we are working to make life more affordable for kansans and like i said there is just ultimately a path to victory there that i am following and working to make sure that voters know about me what i'm about my accomplishments and the fact that you know i come from essentially a background that struggled um i can understand those situations and of course being from the farm i understand the situations and the issues they are facing so

Yeah, well, like I said, with my background, I very much understand what it's like to struggle.

I've been a working mom.

I know how hard it is for middle class and working class families to get by.

As governor, I'll focus on keeping costs down on essentials, housing, health care, child care.

So people don't have to struggle so much and so people don't have to make these horrible choices between healthcare and rent or accumulating massive medical debt.

And I will tell you one thing I'm really diving into is the housing crisis.

We have an affordable housing crisis and we have to take a look at, you know, is it restrictive zoning that's making an impact?
