It takes time for the things that have to happen, that have to fall into place before they receive this promise, before they receive what God's told them they're already going to receive.

But it doesn't happen overnight.

Now, for you mothers and fathers out there,

Think about the preparation and the planning that takes place in those nine months of pregnancy.

Not only buying and receiving baby items, but the preparation of your heart and really a nine-month course in maturity as you actually wait for this gift from the Lord.

Aren't you glad that

that you don't just get pregnant and two days later you have that baby.

It's one of those things where there is time, there's preparation, there are things that God's doing in your heart during that whole time.

And the very practical reasons of, yes, we need to actually gather some needed items for the arrival of this baby.

It takes time.
