Now, I remember it was a dark morning, it was January.

And I left and I went to get the coffees and got them and I was driving back around.

And so just so this makes sense, my brother has another sister on his mum's side and her name is Jen.

And we're very close.

Very lucky to have Jen, actually.

Even though we're not blood related, we're equally like sisters.

and um her husband rang me and i think i think it was it's about 20 past seven in the morning and you know when somebody rings you that doesn't ring you at a time where you know nobody rings you and you just know you just get that feeling okay something's wrong so um yeah i was driving back around um

It's actually extremely painful.

It's a very, very painful part to revisit and it's one of the most painful parts of this, I think.

Reliving that phone call.

Because I suppose you get a little bit of, it's almost like PTSD from that.

So I picked up the phone anyway and her husband said hi and you could hear he was crying.

and he said are you with Stephen who's my husband and I said no and he said okay can you get home to him and I said what you know I just was like tell me now what's happened what's happened and he was like just get home to Stephen and I was shaking I was like is it my dad is it my dad I don't know why I thought my dad but I suppose that's his side of the family so I thought you know that was my initial thing and I was like is my dad it was my dad I think was screaming and

And he was like, just get home.

And I said, tell me now.

I said, tell me now.

I want to know.

And he said, right, pull in the car, pull in the car.
