I don't really remember driving home.

I mean, it was a three minute drive back from where I'd pulled in, but I just, I was completely in a blur and I rang him back and I said, are you sure?

I kept asking, are you sure?

And I just remember running at the time we lived in an apartment and I just remember running upstairs and just, I just remember falling to the floor and just saying, Lucy's dead.

She's gone.

And Stephen just was like, what?

And then Noah started crying.

I think he got a shock.

And, um,

but I just couldn't I mean at that at that point you know that the last thing is you know I'm gonna okay I'm gonna walk to a different bedroom and you're just you're just completely you just don't even know what's going on and um yeah and I just remember my first thing was okay we need to get nowhere ready we need to go and tell my dad um my first thing was I need to tell my dad um

Like, my dad gets up late and I was like, I don't want him to find out from anybody else but me.

And he was in Monaghan and I was in Dublin.

So I text my two babysitters.

We have no family in Dublin.

So we kind of relied on babysitters and different things to, you know, in terms of childcare.

And one text back and said she was she was working and the other one didn't text back.

So I rang my auntie.

in who lives more south of Monaghan and I said can we drop Noah to you while I go down to tell my dad and I explained to her and she was just shocked she of course dropped Noah off um and we basically packed up the car got Noah in the car um and yeah and it actually turned out Noah fell asleep so we brought him and and I remember um going in to the house and my mum I told my mum and I said don't mention it to dad and she was like oh Claire Stephen and Noah are here my dad
