Everything feels so performative and like to be like, are you?
I met this girl who was 25 and she was trying to impress me by telling me how she freaked out her grad school art teacher by like doing a ripped up political thing.
I remember being like, oh, yeah, they weren't freaked out at all.
And that's how I feel about these parties.
But because then you can put them online and find young.
And of course, it's a way to get money.
I mean, it is like at the end of the day, these people who act so... It is so fun to have somebody pay for a party.
And if like you are that selfless and lacking in moral center, then you'll be like, I don't know, a night of drinking and all I have to do is watch like people get deported.
It's so hack in the most boring, obvious way of ultimately I'm going where the money is and they think it's edgy.
But it's that thing where sometimes being edgy in a New York City crowd reverts you to the most popular opinion, which is what 95% of people in America already thought.
