It's deep, you know, but obviously there are some names at the top of the draft that you do get excited about.
And you just want to have a chance.
You know, I believe I'm in the thought of like it doesn't matter where we pick.
We're going to get the best player, you know.
But, you know, the odds, you know, working in your favor today, it does help.
So I posed this question yesterday on social media, and I'll ask you right now, Layla.
Did you think that the lottery had rigged elements to it before this draft?
And did anything, or this draft lottery, and did anything change in terms of how you view the lottery after you saw the results of the lottery from top to bottom?
I'm saying, did you feel like there were any rigged components of the NBA draft lottery in general?
And did any of that change for you after the results of this particular lottery?
Because they've been flattened out.
So Indiana ends up with the number five pick, but they had a top four protected trade with the Clippers.
And because it's number five, they now have to send that number five pick to the Clippers.
We know that the Wizards got the number one pick.
After that, the Utah Jazz, the aforementioned Memphis Grizzlies.
They've needed it for a while now, right?
They were due to get the number one pick.
Not from an odd standpoint, which was true.
Which was true, but it's been a long time since the Wizards were good and had a star.
that's kind of a bottom line thing.
