And then you say, well, we're not cutting anyone off for X, Y, and Z. Well, you're not, but the bill still assumes a cost savings that people are going to drop out.
So, you know, you're going to these four cities, you're bringing this message, which is, you know, alarming and unnerving in some ways.

What did you hear from the folks that you were talking to?

You know, it's something that, you know, David Jordan, who I think we all know, here from the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund, it's always a mouthful, nearly got it in the first try.
Anyway, you know, his group helped sponsor some polling a couple of months ago, and I spoke with him about this on the podcast.
And I think one of the things that was really striking about that polling when we were talking
when I was talking to him about it, and the pollster as well, is, Adrian, exactly what you were saying, which is people already feel like it is very difficult to raise a family in Kansas, like that people in need are not getting the help that they really could use.
And this is, as you say, this is before any of the effects of the bill are in place.
Indeed.
And then, hey, the other thing that happened during this tour was that the government shut down.
kind of from from one to the other, Haley, also starting with you.
I mean, if we were concerned about H, you know, about the big, beautiful bill, quote unquote, there's a lot of now very pressing things that are perhaps arising from the shutdown.
So so what are you guys looking at from that?
Adrian and April, anything you guys are tracking shutdown related?
Well, and I think a lot of folks who even receive health insurance through kind of the traditional employer-sponsored plans, there's been a lot of sticker shock this fall.
And my impression is, I have not actually seen the hard data on this, but my impression is health insurance companies are looking at that big amount of money being taken out of the system from the federal government.
