Well, and it's it's just important to understand that, you know, laws do not just, you know, burst into flour one day.
Like there actually is a way that the idea goes from something in someone's head to text to to going through committees and the floors the floor and there's an expected way that that happens, and then there's what actually happens.
And so that's what this
Series is going to be about.
But now, Sherman, talking about the end of the session, that Thursday and Friday, the 9th and 10th of April, you know, some big things actually did happen.
There's some big things happened that there were bills passed that the governor signed that
are pretty meaningful.
So what are those?
Well, and even though there had been some kind of ground grassroots, ground level kind of protest or agitation about some of the uh the uh Chiefs uh all of the you know, fru for rock surrounding the mo the new Chiefs stadium and all that, it didn't ultimately end up translating to any sort of of real delay.
Like the the bills rolled through, she passed 'em.
It it just happened.
Well, and legislative leaders up appeared to be pretty bought into it as well.
Uh a majority at least.
Yeah.
Um so moving on, um there was a bill that establishes, and I guess this is the law now, is going to establish a new civics test for Kansas high school students who are graduating.
