And, you know, the Supreme Court made it ruin.
And then the governor and the Secretary of State
decided to just halt the election.
I mean, just disregard, you know, thousands of people who had already cast their votes.
But this is nothing new for us in Louisiana.
You know, Plessy v. Ferguson came from Louisiana.
You know, the Supreme Court, the same Supreme Court said it was it was legal to be separate.
You know, they legalized segregation.
So this battle must, you know, must continue.
We just gotta keep on fighting.

He was doing it for generations to come.
Martin Luther King, Jesse Jackson, all of these civil, Rosa Parks, all these civil rights leaders, they had to go through hard times.
And I've said time and time again, the issue is not whether or not I serve another second in Congress.
The issue is whether or not a person who look like me, who looks like me, will have the opportunity to serve in Congress.
And the evidence is clear.
