What I really like about it is the timing of the year in which they are playing because they're both at their best.

If you look at the other competition, which was Champions Cup, for MLS teams, I think they're kind of like –

at a disadvantage because you're coming off a preseason you haven't got a full preseason yet and you're not in top form where it's like when you see these two teams go against well two leagues go against each other from the beginning of August the beginning of September you're seeing them in their prime both leagues at their best and see who is the top dog so that's what I like about it and

I just think there's other things that you can do.

You need to keep figuring out ways to make the leagues here domestically more exciting.

And you need also the American players to be doing really well overseas for their clubs and look forward to some of these major competitions that are coming up, whether it's the Olympics, whether it's Copa America again, whether it's other Gold Cups.

I just think there's a lot of exciting things coming up.

And also shout out to the women's team who have the World Cup coming up next year.

Yeah, I mean, I like seeing a lot of the young stars that we have play with confidence, take players on, and it's just mixing up your game, right?

When things are not working well and you try to take someone on two or three times, then obviously maybe it's time to make a simple pass.

But what I like is seeing some of these young players with no fear, taking risks, going out and expressing themselves and being creative in the attack in third.

And I think that's what you need.

You need certain players that can mix it up sometimes and

I want to give back to us creating, you know, players that take players on and are exciting to watch and get people out of their seats.

So hopefully that young next up generation, per se, who's going to be fighting to be in the Olympics, will be pushing the full men's national team in terms of some of our stars to look over their shoulder like, hey,

If I don't stay on top of things, I can be put to the bench, right?

So iron sharpens iron.

I'm looking forward to more competition for spots and create more depth.

I love that.

I mean, I'm no one to speak to Messi, but what I will say is, man, just so impressed with how he played in the World Cup at 39, how he dominated, how he's still a difference maker.
