It's almost as if you were suggesting that I already know who is in the World Cup final, which I don't.
I commentated on five World Cup final matches and note the past tense because it's not going to happen again.

And in many respects, you would say they're the five biggest games that I've ever commentated on.
I think the first admission confession is that I was commentating to a third of the UK audience on each of those occasions.

So I'd have to qualify what it's like to commentate on a World Cup final in those terms.

The biggest television audience I ever commentated to was the semi-final in Moscow, which was touching 30 million.

But that's that's there even in a group phase game.
The World Cup final also comes at the end of a long stint on the road.

I'm not trying to suggest for one moment that I gave it any less attention or preparation than, you know, the other major games that I've been lucky enough to commentate on.
