And you've obviously studied it closely enough to see the the dilemmas that are involved.

I mean, I can talk for the next half hour in answer to that particular question.

But.

My as somebody now in their seventies, early to very, very early seventies, I am conscious of not growing old and try not to grow old every single day of appreciating that media creation and consumption changes by the day.

But when it comes to the principles, the basics,

I'm open to innovation and new ideas.

If you can convince me it's what the audience wants and that this will improve their experience.

If it's just something that we're trying out without any real research or feedback, then I'm not as convinced.

And I agree with you completely.

There are now just so many sources.

And I often, if you're watching a news channel,

I'm absolutely amazed by somebody in our vision talking about a really, really grave situation, a war situation or a famine situation or, yeah, I mean, you know, something of that nature.

And there are three other pieces of information flying across the screen along the bar, along the bottom, along the bar down the side.

I mean, talk about trying to make me feel old.

Are you trying to tell me that there are young people now on the planet who want at least four different sources of information thrown at them at the same time?

I'm not convinced from, you know, I do a little bit of teaching at a university now.

I don't find that that's what they want.

Their consumption of media is in many ways very much the same as mine.

in so much that they do like to concentrate on one screen.

They might have another screen on the go, and they might have a conversation going with a friend on WhatsApp or whatever.
