That is the status quo.
That's what almost every Medicare brokerage in the country does.
In fact, I haven't seen one other than Chapter that doesn't do that.
And I've seen a lot of them.
And it's really unfortunate.
But there's a lot of complexities to how these businesses are set up.
It's not always misaligned.
It's not always malicious, but it is always misaligned incentives.
Because there's all these perverse incentives and there's such bad technology in the industry, people are so poorly optimized for their Medicare coverage today.
There was a study a few years ago that said that about 90% of Americans are on the wrong Medicare plan.
where wrong is defined as could be spending less for the same coverage or could be getting better coverage.
And so because of that, people are spending so much more money than they need to be spending for identical coverage or not getting the healthcare they need.
Literally every day, 10 times a day, 100 times a day.
Yeah, it's almost every person we talk to that we support, we are able to save them materially.
About $1,100 per year is our average savings.
Yeah, and for people on fixed income earning $17,000 or $18,000 a year through Social Security, it's massive.
We use AI all over the place.
And it's been a massive help to the company.
So a few examples.
One is we are able to run a really complex, highly regulated company business with a very small and lean team.
