Different parts of the federal government have gotten a lot better.

So DOD, the Department of Defense, or not Department of War, has actually gotten a lot better at working with newer technology companies and getting good technology into the hands of the warfighter, as it were.

Um, it's certainly not perfect, but it is a lot better.

And I think it's better because we've had this uh existential risk from China to force us to be better.

I think throughout the rest of the government, we haven't actually had that revolution.

um to make it much better for the government to buy and work with other technology companies.

So I think I think it's been a lot slower throughout the rest of the government.

But when I was yeah, when I was working on the other side um directly with the government, uh

Yeah, it's not just a procurement process.

It's also, you know, the government is a lar very large, slow moving organization and there's bureaucracy by design.

So it's going to take a lot of time.

There's going to be a lot of uh checks and balances and there's a reason that the government doesn't run like a company.
