So it was a lot of uncertainty around what the next surgery looks like.

So a hundred percent, there was doubts, but,

I mean, it was kind of what I did after the surgery, and then I never really looked back after that.

um i wouldn't say it would my mom and that said that i was fairly close but look at obviously you get you go into surgery and there's a chance that you don't wake up from surgery there's so many so many question marks and then i had lots of uh complications where i had a leak in my bowel after i had um i had everything closed up so then you got sepsis and if you get

obviously sepsis in your bloodstream, then you can get put into induced coma.

So then there's all them sorts of risks.

And then there's the, the risks of, um, yeah, just if you recover or if you won't.

So I, I never really thought that my life was in jeopardy, but there was, there's obviously times like I, when I got out of hospital and I was 60 kilos, I would just stand up and I'd fall over and smash.

Like there's multiple times where I'd wake up on the ground just from going to the toilet.

And I just think,

I just didn't have any energy or I had nothing.

Yeah, mate.

When I first had the ileostomy pouch, so they obviously cut out my whole large bowel and

made my small bowel into, I guess, my large bowel, and it's like an S-trap under a sink.

That's pretty much how I explain it.

It's gravity-fed, and when I got it all connected, I'd never had food through it, so I had to reintroduce every food back into this new stomach, and that's from toast to milk to any type of food you think of, meat.

So I was going, like, I'm not even joking, 30 times a day.

It was unlivable, and I couldn't believe it.

I remember thinking, like, I'll go back to the snowmobile if it's like this.
