That's obviously the bag because I honestly thought it was unlivable until I went on these sites and I went and looked up a fair bit and they said the first six months is just absolute torture, but it does start to get better.

Then you manage it with the food you eat.

You have mashed potato or rice that seems to slow your stomach down and you go to the toilet less, but if you have

high sugar like lollies or you have things yeah things with lots of sugar in it then that will speed your stool up and then you balance it out with the water you drink and the hydration how much salt you have is how much your body will absorb the food that you're eating because obviously the salt in your body is a lot the salt that you produce is only in your large bowel so i um i don't have that anymore so if i don't have hydration then there's no salt to actually grab onto the

So, yeah, I kind of just figured it out along the way and I read into it a lot.

And then I tested a lot of boundaries where I had them nights that were just horrible and it would mess my guts up.

And I just knew from then on and I just ticked that box off if I could have that food or couldn't have that food.

Anywhere near I am today without her and without all my other family and the support that I had, my partner, we found out, I guess, when I was going into one of my biggest surgeries that there's a high possibility I won't be able to have kids again.

And she was obviously still like kids is above everything for us as a family.

So we still decided she still wanted to have a kid with me, mate.

And a week before my major operation, we found out that we were going to have Mia.

And, yeah, there was a lot of uncertainty.

And then I went into the surgery, and I probably spent another four or five months in hospital after that.

And she sat in one of them little chairs in the bed and honestly didn't leave.

She'd go down and get me.

some brekkie in the morning or a bit of toast and didn't leave and she just grew a belly inside to the point that the nurses are sending us cards when we got home and asking how Mary is and just look after me and

uh, I guess packed up her career just so she could look after me.
