You know, this is still a guy who hasn't really had that breakthrough at the major league level.

I'm not sure anyone knows exactly what to expect.

He's actually been a little bit more hittable than you would think just based on the fact he can throw 100 with the 3000 RPM slider.

But this is a guy who you refine some of those edges a little bit.

And Jackson Jobe could be as good as anyone in baseball.

Yeah, it's kind of the big question today.

Are they going to do anything more?

Are they going to do a lot more?

Are they going to do nothing?

The way I understand it, Casey Mize is available.

But I don't think the Tigers feel pressure to move him.

And I do wonder if it matters that they swept the Athletics this past weekend.

I don't think the results of individual games, like I said, was really factoring that much into the Tarek Skubal conversation today.

Because of the return he could bring back, it was just so sizable.

With Mize, with Torres, it could matter a little bit more.

The Tigers might not want to trade another starting pitcher or a valuable right-handed bat if they think they can still make a run, and clearly they're not out of it, and they do view that as somewhat possible.

So I think they're going to be weighing a lot of this against the type of offers they get.

And Casey Mize is eligible for a qualifying offer at the end of the season.

So that already puts kind of a high floor on the asking price for Mize.
