Um, and then last night, again, it was
It was just a strange game, but the Tigers did ultimately lose it um at the hands of their bullpen and extra innings.
Yeah, it's it's a little more subtle, but basically the Tigers have a different bullpen every series, which in some ways they they have always been prone to make a lot of transactions like that based on matchups, but it's been more heightened here.
Um, they're basically just trying to, yeah, to, you know, if if you're playing the Jays, we want some righties in there.
If you're playing the Royals, we're gonna call up another lefty.
We're gonna option righty.
We don't really care who it is.
Um, they've had a flurry of bullpen transactions.
Again, the bullpen has been better.
Um, it's probably too early to declare it fully fixed because you've had Will Vass, Kyle Finnegan, Troy Melton, a rookie pitch really well.
Um the front end of your bullpen hasn't been used as much because starters have been going deeper into games.
That's been helpful.
But Tommy Canley's pitched, I think, once in 11 days.
Rafael Montero, who was one of their more risky trade deadline acquisitions, hasn't pitched a ton and hasn't really looked great.
And then you've had, you know, kind of some question marks with these guys who are in these floating spots.
They just called out.
Drew Summers, uh, rookie lefty, who they really like, but he struggled a little bit in just his first two major league outings.
Um, they play the Royals again after they're done with the A's, so they'll probably stick with a similar look.
Uh, and then I wouldn't be shocked if Drew Summers goes back down and they call up another righty.
