I think it was a little bit of a deeper team than I thought the lineup, like yeah, you you know, you get into the bottom half of the lineup and there's still some threats.
Like there's some guys who, if you don't execute your pitch, they can take you out of the ballpark or they can do some extra base damage.
That certainly happened in the Detroit series and kind of stood out.

Kind of makes my head spin, you know, because people are always asking, like, can the Tigers get to the World Series?
And I don't know my answer to that quite like, sure, they can.
So can the Jays.
So can the Mariners, the Astros.
Like, there is not a clear front runner, I don't think, in the American League.
The Jays have built a team that seems as capable as anyone.
Um, I think it's gonna come down to that magic of postseason baseball.
Who gets hot, who gets a couple breaks that
go in their favor.
This is as wide open of an American league with no real powerhouse, no real clear cut favorite as I can remember in a long time.
I think it's a lot different.
Uh players would never admit it, but I wonder if that factored in a little bit to, you know, the stretch where they lost twelve of thirteen.
Cause again, it wasn't just bad baseball.
Like it it kind of went beyond that and it was a little more extended than oh, you had a bad series.
I wonder if there was something to to do with the mentality of like at the time they had like a 14-game division lead in July.
It was kind of ridiculous.
