Yeah, Casey Mize continues to pitch really well.
The bullpen, I think, is still this team's weak spot.
If you go look, I think they lead the AL in blown saves.
Win probability added is a lot worse than just the raw ERA.
But even the bullpen has began to perform better and at least is show capable of putting up some scoreless innings.
The base running is cleaned up.
The defense is cleaned up.
Kind of everything is coming up.
Tigers right now.
So then it's like, all right, well, which team are they?
Right.
The bad version or the good version.
And the answer is somewhere in between, I think.
But how long can they sustain being the good Tigers?
And if they keep kind of dominating like this, you know, what will it mean for the trajectory of their season?
Yeah, I think you've got to start with the bullpen.
I think they could really use a legit swing and miss reliever.
I think the Tigers kind of showed us last year they're probably not going to really shop for a big fish at the trade deadline, but even if they can find a guy who's been struggling that throws 98, 99 and try to get them back to form a little bit, that's where I would start if I were the Tigers.
It's got to be bullpen help, and it's got to be someone who has some real strikeout stuff.
