And that probably is fairly self-explanatory, but cooperation between competitors.

This kind of goes back to what we were talking about with standards, guidelines, and best practices, right?

All right, last one, innovation.

This is one of my favorite things, is to listen to naive questions from smart people.

Because a lot of times, if you've got somebody who really, really knows something about another industry, or just is kind of a curious, inquisitive person in general, and they ask you a question about your field that is just nonsense, and it's like, yeah, that's not how it works.

take a step back and give it a moment, listen to them and try to really unpack what they're getting at.

And in a lot of cases, I'll find you can take that knowledge and apply it to something in your field.

And even if it's not exactly what they were going for, you're going to come up with something that you never would have on your own.

And we're all better because of it.

You know, I've participated in the Faster Payments Council now for a number of years.
