So um yeah, I mean when you when you have a power play with that success obviously it gives guys confidence and then and then really it should you know have the other team on notice uh to make sure they don't bring to the uh prey to the penalty box with you

seen first hand which uh how good the Evanson Power play has been over the years.

No, he's not on our first power play.

He's he's pretty much out the door first on the on the penalty kill and and that's where um you know, where we see that he'll be his best chance to be an NHL player.

So he he knows that, he's been communicated to.

You know the best part is is like he's like, Oh gosh, I know I'm gonna be you know, if if I have a chance to make NHL my start is probably gonna be in the in the bottom six.

So I gotta win face offs, I gotta be hard to play a game.

I gotta be physical.

Um, you know, I need to be able to to do that and then also need to continue to grow my offensive game uh at at this level here.

So he's on the second power play.

You know what?

Like we got two actually there's there is a lot of skill here that what we're trying to do with this group right now is really uh create competition between both units to who's ever going uh to uh um to put that other unit just

to have some internal competition.

That's part of that development as well too, right?

Just to create competition against each other so you compete for each other so to speak, uh when when the game is on.

Um but uh Sammy is embracing that role.

He's above fifty percent on face offs.

uh and he's all of and you know c kinda like you know, sorta like uh what we did with Noah Phelps, you know, uh so you know tr kind of following that pathway.

Uh so he's uh he's been great so far.

Yeah, I I would say that uh um you know I think that's a fair assessment.
