And then the player, right, has to be willing to trust you and meet you halfway.

And that was incredible to work with.

So, you know, similar to his AHL start, a little slow in the beginning, right, and not really finishing, not really scoring.

And then, you know, he had the same – it worked out the same as his first year in the AHL.

So looking forward to see how he does here in the playoffs.

Yeah, he is always over-smiling, over-happy, and just loves life.

I think for all the players that Stan and Toby and the development team and Keith Gretzky brought in from Europe, I don't know if they were right expecting to be in the NHL in year one.

They understood that there'd be a process and there'd be a chance.

And, you know, Sammy was just early on understood that his role, right?

There was no like, I want to pill penalties.

I want to play in the bottom six.

I want to be physical.

I want to be good without the puck.

There was no convincing of him of that.

So right away, the player like game one.

So, you know, he was one of the players that I had had.

that were individual, you know, development with.

And, you know, it was like physical play, face-offs, play with that.

And he was like eating it up.

So, you know, most young players, you know, the only way they've ever helped their team is scoring, which Max Savoy is a good example.
