He scored points and that's how he helped his team.

That's what excited him.

Sammy understood right away that he needed to find that niche and opportunity arise.

He did some really good things, partly playing in between Howard and Hudson and being that defensive responsibility, getting to the net, going to areas to provide room for them and it clicked.

And then, you know, in the moment, Rose, to have an opportunity to play in Edmonton.

I know Nobber really likes him and the trust factor is growing.

So all of those pieces, you know, find your way to a nice little NHL, you know, part first season and then might have an opportunity to play in the NHL playoffs in your first year.

What a dream come true.

As of late, he's really meeting us halfway as far as... What I mean by that is just making sure he's being responsible without the puck.

With Szymanski and Max Jones being called up, now he's in... Him and Mariella are one of our top four penalty killers.

So he's starting to see that those players are up and they're staying up.

And obviously Max has been injured, but staying up, finding a role...

And I think he's starting to realize that, like, if I'm going to be an NHL player, I just need to find a way to get in the top 12, however that is.

And then if I might be able to get in the top nine and then, you know, I'll work my way from there.

So he had such early success scoring goals.
