I'd love to see it personally.

I think it will be really, really important for driving investment and for entrepreneurs to get set up.

But I do think we will see stuff in relation to R&D.

There's likely to be an increase in the credit, I think, hopefully to about 35%.

They're talking about expanding the regime so that more SMEs can possibly have avail of it.

There's a shocking statistic recently, Joe, that nearly 25% of larger businesses are claiming R&D credit, while only about 3% of smaller businesses.

And we really need more businesses engaged in high-value R&D activities, particularly, again, as we're trying to maintain Ireland's status quo as an investment premier location.

Yeah, and I think that's been a big, big problem of late with Ireland Inc.

overall in that, you know, we bring in really good measures to start with, but maybe like overbake them or overcook them in terms of regulations and restrictions and therefore become effectively inoperable, particularly

particularly for smaller and medium-sized businesses.

Yeah, hopefully they do.

I mean, this is not a giveaway budget, as you say, Joe.

There's very little in it for individuals.

So hopefully we will see more investment, more rainy day funds being put away to supercharge that and ultimately then look to deploy it in due course.

Yeah, I think that's going to be a bit of a struggle come one o'clock today.

And ultimately, once we start to hear the finer details, you're right, like there's very little in it for individuals.

You know, we're unlikely to see any movement on indexation or tax bands.

It just simply is costing too much for them at this time.

But that will mean that nearly, you know, as wage inflation and people are all looking to kind of look at their pay packet,

It's going to mean more people paying more tax and ultimately possibly even more individuals going into the higher rate band.
