His dad was a naval officer, and Sam internalized a lot of the lessons from that, and he never forgot about it.

Those are things that he didn't have to do.
And he took it on after having done so much.
And that was, you know, what he spent a lot of the last years doing.
And once again, he must have made a lot of people uncomfortable about that.
And I remember him the last couple of years talking about moving to sort of the Greek coast downward with Gina and just hanging out there for a good long while and doing the Zorba, the Greek sort of dancing, etc.
