I'd spent most of my time in special forces and doing other sorts of things at two tours ever in the infantry.

And so when the board came out, I was getting ready to retire.

I said, OK, it's been fun.

Like I say, the probabilities are just impossible.

You didn't want to go to OCS?

Well, by this time, I was an E7, the youngest in the Army, in a sergeant major position.
