So it was pretty special.
I mean, obviously, I think coming here with Connor and Jason helped a lot, kind of being comfortable in the locker room.
I knew Savoy before coming here, so that was also nice to get familiar in the locker room.
I mean, the staff was unbelievable.
The players were unbelievable with welcoming us.
Obviously, having your parents at every home game is pretty special, and getting to see them and going to dinner with them just makes you feel comfortable, feel at home, and it was an easy transition.
Yeah, like I said before, it was nice coming in with Jason and Connick.
They were doing the exact same thing, so it was easy to talk to them.
And obviously the boys and the staff were really open to helping us, whether it was extra time after practice or just a lot more video sessions.
But it was pretty seamless to kind of transition into it and get ready for playoff hockey.
I mean, that was something I've dreamt of as a kid and something I think my style of game takes off in.

I like that side of the game.
I like being physical.
I like being in defensemen's faces, being in front of that.
kind of getting that greasy area, hard, tough spots on the ice.
I think that's kind of where my game flourishes.
I think kind of working below the net, kind of below the circles, picking up pucks on the wall, protecting it.
It's kind of a lot of the areas we focus on, whether it's summer training or in-season after practice or before it.
Those are some tough areas to be in, and it's good to work on those things and try to improve your game in any aspect.
