I just think they need somebody to occupy centre-backs for me.
And I watch Man United play and it just feels like without that, defenders find it quite easy to play against them.

Yeah, I think it is, but it's been in transition too long now, hasn't it, if we're going to be completely honest.
From the first time they dropped out of the Premier League to then when we went back up and then we went back down again, it's been too long in transition now.

real success and it was that kind of feeling of going to that ground thinking it's going to be the hardest game in the world that's what I used to feel when I went there when you had Jamie Vardy up front you had James Madison behind you had Tielemans you had Ndidi you had even going back to Wes Morgan being at centre back with Robert Huth and these sorts of players
It was one of the hardest games you're going to have in a season.
And I just feel like that identity has been lost over the years.
And I was part of that, by the way.
I was part of that team when we lost that identity.
And it's tough to see.
It's really tough to see because my time there was tough.
But seeing them now in this position and where they are, and it's such a process now because Russell Martin's football, I actually really like Russell Martin.
