job that we all did of trying to control this thing, which turns out was uncontrollable and everything else.
Like, there's no real resolution to all of that.
Like, what's the resolution to all that?
Should we have shut down the world?
Should we have gotten the vaccine?
Should we have not?
We've just all kind of plotted on with this sort of life-changing event.
And nobody really owns it.
Like, it was just like, oh, well, everybody tried their best and now kind of here we are at the end of it.
But I do remember how deeply sort of bleak and claustrophobic it got around there.
It was...
It was tough going.
Yeah, weirdly my sort of memories are the good ones because they were so like fleeting and infrequent, you know, like my daughter was very young at the time and they used to bring her for a walk down the canal and it was spring.
So it was getting to that time of year when your natural environment puts you in a good mood and I take her off for a couple of hours every morning.
And then I remember the following year when.
To remember the golf clubs reopened, you could play, but there was all these kind of stipulations.
So there was a kind of an outdoor barbecue and a few of us had, after like a year and a half, not been able to do anything.
We had like a Friday evening game in the kind of height of summer.
And I just remember how deeply enjoyable that was because there had been nothing for so long.
Oh yeah, I'm more conscious of that too.
