My good instinct on it is that maybe this might be only a stage of an evolution, but I think we're more insular, generally speaking, anyway.
I think we've spent more time in our own heads because we were even just locked in with our immediate families for so long.
and I think are like you know you see it at the school gates sometimes you see it even in the lift and work you can be literally in the same physical space with somebody and because you have your phone and people will always reach for their phone in that moment of awkwardness it's impossible to be completely and utterly shut off from the person who's you know and like
That didn't happen 10 years ago.
You always acknowledge the people that were sort of sitting around you.
And I think people are less, or sorry, they're more empowered to kind of ignore people whenever they want it.
And I'm not sure that that's, I'm pretty sure actually that that's not a good thing.
I would say it's probably not.
just JΓΌrgen JΓΌrgen what the fuck is going on what are we doing here this match shouldn't even be on and then watching German football when it came back on and in the empty stadiums Hamburg against Borussia Dortmund and thinking and hearing the shouts of the players on the pitch through the television there was an initial novelty value to that I was like ooh yeah very quickly very quickly do you cover much sport behind closed doors
no like I was at the two All-Ireland finals like I will it's funny like Dublin Mayo Dublin Mayo and Limerick Limerick Waterford yeah Limerick Waterford that Waterford goal getting yeah
Burst, yeah, that year.
But it's funny when you think about it.
People talk about the Tundra and Lightning final and they talk about all these famous All-Ireland finals because they were played in unique circumstances.
And they were the most unique circumstances ever.
Ever.
Can't have most unique.
Sorry, that's true, yeah.
They are the... He was in a flow there, Joe, come on.
Sorry.
I literally brought this up last week.
