It's just the act itself with all of its brutality just there.

And the aftermath is hard to watch where he cradles the dying Joe in his arms.
And in the wreckage on the ground, he spots the pregnancy test.
The image of her lying in the ground, bloodied, broken, it's striking and haunting.
Garrus, so far, has done a really good job at immersing us in the physical and emotional devastation of their loss.
At the funeral, Mike's agent, Jason Priestley, from Beverly Hills Now 210, he fills, he's Mike's agent, he fills him in on the success of the latest novel, and shortly after, Mike and his brother, played by Matt Frewer, drown their sorrows at the bar.
They discuss Joe's pregnancy and what that means, considering that Mike hadn't been able to have kids.

And I kind of, like,
I struggled with a second because in the book, if I remember correctly, this conversation is between Mike and his brother-in-law.
But then I realized that it was actually in the show here that it's Mike's brother, that they're playing brothers.
And I don't understand why one has an English accent and one does not, if they're brothers.
That's something that I struggled with.
