We saw the inauguration.

The FCC is putting meta on trial right now.

You see Bob Iger choosing to settle this lawsuit, paying Donald Trump $16 million in December.

Now the FCC is investigating ABC for DEI.

You have the FCC investigating NBC.

You have Sherry Redstone willing to try and settle this crazy lawsuit, as experts have called it.

Well, multiple senators are trying to figure out if she's violating bribery laws.

So you're trying to appease somebody, but at the same time, you're still under their microscope regardless.

Well, I was going to say, Don, we, unfortunately, at this present time, the press is not terribly well liked in this country.

And the administration has been using that to its advantage.

You saw what happened with the Associated Press in the White House.

The White House is pushing the Associated Press out of White House events.

And yet, even as multiple organizations signed on to all of these letters, that was more fodder for the administration to attack the White House Correspondents Association, attack the Associated Press.

And when a lot of the country doesn't understand how journalism works, seeing these journalists who they perceive as this elite group standing together, pushing back against the president, then it's very easy for the White House to make them appear as though they're the enemy, even if they're just doing their job, bringing the truth to light and holding the administration accountable.

I mean, that's the question we're asking ourselves every day.
