Thank you for having me.
You know, 2024 was tough.
You know, it was tough on so many levels because, you know, after introducing the ceasefire now resolution with my dear sister, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, people who were our friends, our allies,
people who we have been in solidarity with for a long time, a lot of them turned on us, didn't want to talk to us.
We even heard from the White House that we were disgraceful or that our effort was disgraceful and repugnant.
And so people just disconnected.
And so we felt that on the ground as well.
And so the ads just made it even worse.
It was, you know, people were believing the ads, people were confused by the ads, especially
when you put $15 million into a Midwest media market and you flood the airwaves with it and it's misinformation, disinformation, lies, distortions that never once mentioned the real agenda.
So it was tough.
It was the toughest race I had ever been through and probably the toughest one that I had ever seen anybody else that I know go through.
But I will say this,
it built me up and it made me ready for this fight that I'm, that we're in right now.
The one thing it did not do was silence me.
It didn't shut me up.
It didn't push me into a corner.
It didn't make me change my positions.
All it did was push me even further into my beliefs.
