And, and because what I understand, what I understand is that this fight,

This egregious push to get me out of the way really impacted my community, really impacted St.

Louis.

So someone who knows how to go after the federal dollars for the community, that's willing to sleep on the steps of the Capitol to make sure that people are, that families have homes,

You know, someone who is who will speak out against atrocities and human rights violations that that does not have to poll for more clarity.

Somebody that leads from the front and does not have to ask for permission.

St.

Louis lost that.

And that infuriated me.

And so that's so I had to jump back out.

I jumped back out.

First, because people ask me to.

The community, Emma, the community was stopping me at gas stations, at the grocery store, you know, saying, we need you to run again.

A lady jumped out of the car, you know, when she saw me walking down the street and was like, you're Cori Bush, you gotta run.

So it was a community.

But then when I was look, I got a chance to just really sit back and look at what wasn't happening.

You know, a tornado ripped through our community, an EF3 ripped through St.

Louis.

And it really devastated a community that was already historically excluded and under-resourced.

And our congressman, he didn't help us.
