We loaded into the car.

We started driving out of the woods.

We got to a dirt road that led to the highway.

And when we turned onto it, we saw something extremely unsettling.

On both sides of the road, facing the road, were animals.

What?

Cows, deer, rabbits, dogs, birds, all in straight lines, completely still,

road.

They lined the road all the way up to the highways.

And honestly, I don't remember much after that.

I think I was in shock.

But I do remember that Wheezy Katie just kind of disappeared on us after this.

We went to her house.

She would never answer the door.

She wouldn't answer our texts or our phone calls or anything after that.

Next thing I heard, she did move to Wyoming.

And I am still close with the friends T, S, and K. And in fact, T, S, and I ended up moving to Arizona together a few months after this.

And yeah, life just kind of moved on.

But no idea what happened.
