Here in Chelsea, trucks have been busy loading up with salt ahead of this Sunday.
The manager of Eastern Salt here tells me there's about 75 to 100,000 tons of salt here.
The trucks are replenishing salt yards throughout Massachusetts and even southern New Hampshire so cities and towns can be prepared and keep their roads treated before and during the storm.
Manager Cornelius Martin tells me Eastern Salt has been busy treating icy roads for about six weeks now, and he says ice is the main concern when driving through the weather we're expecting.
He says a couple hours before the storm is when you'll start to see those salt trucks on the roads.
