It's not cab drivers.
It's not commercial illustrators.
It's not pornography stars, right?
Those are all just demos.
They're going to have to replace people who make a lot of money.
Yeah, I mean, we've had these bubbles before.
One of the core aspects of this thesis is that tech needs a story about how it's going to keep growing.
A lot of people I like and listen to have said, which I think is wrong, that endless growth is the ideology of a cancer cell.
Because the reason these guys want to grow, it's not ideological, it's material, right?
Companies that are growing have higher valuations.
Their stock is more liquid.
They can buy other companies with their stock.
They can hire people with stock.
So the thing that makes them work
from the perspective of the investor story is they have to keep your share price from cratering until you have another story.
There's two things going on at once, right?
So one is that there are probably investors who think AI can actually do the jobs.
And I think like a lot of billionaires really just don't think other people are real and think that any job that they don't do must be easy.
You know, Elon Musk calls everyone who disagrees with him an NPC.
