And I was in a situation in one of like an early relationship where they emotionally cheated on me for like a three month period.

And I only discovered it after we'd even broken up and they broke up with me like on a whim.

It felt like like I was like, whoa, I didn't see it coming.

And the worst part about that wasn't that they fell in love with someone else.

It was that they didn't tell me because the way that I view relationships is like that person is your teammate and your companion for that period of time, whether your relationship is a week apart.

And until you have shredded that piece of paper, like to me, like that is the commitment that you have made to that person.
