And one of my proudest moments,
After retirement, those youngsters that you see them now and they come over and there's a manager, a coach, whatever.
And they can remember what you said to them as youngsters growing up and they're thanking you for it.
That's giving back and that's helping the youngsters.
And I think that's one of the things, in my estimation, that is lacking.
The experience that is around this table.
Because we've all played the games.
One of the memories that come back to me quickly is when Wes Hall says to me as an 18-year-old, when you go to England, this is the condition you might face.
And he painted a picture that by the time I arrived in England, I roughly knew what to expect because he was spot on.

Probably a golden opportunity that's gone begging, particularly when you see what unfolds later in the day with the English wildcard, Arthur Ferry, defeating Grigor Dimitrov in a super tiebreaker.
To get a wildcard in a quarterfinal would have been a great result.
So, yeah, a really difficult day, I think, for Alex.
But then that probably rubbed some salt into the wounds afterwards.
