It's a little bit dire in terms of guys who were playing really well two years ago who were not playing anywhere near where they were in 2024.
Diminal is playing close to where he was in 2024 and 2025.
It's a hard one because he gets beaten and it's a tough loss and the opportunity is there.
He's actually not that far off even though he says he's probably further away from winning the major because
you know, he's still top 10 in the world.
He'd be number five.
He's still very high in the race in terms of, you know, he would still be very well in position to make the last eight, last 10.
It's just, and he made a quarterfinal of the Australian Open.
So a quarterfinal,
a third round in Paris where he's not the most adept clay quarter and a fourth round at Wimbledon.
It's not that bad if you look at it in terms of, you know, most players will walk away of that and think, well, it's a pretty solid effort.
If you're a top tenner, you'd want to press a bit deeper, but it's also not that bad.
But it's just that he's not winning those big matches.
