I've seen every situation you can imagine.

So for a young player who's going through a certain problem, come and see me.

Come speak to me.

I can see it.

I usually sense it in training.

I can see it with a player in training.

I've had all sorts, from family pressures to

certain situations that have gone on in the family with other family members, distant family members.

I had one kid at Anderlecht, really good player, really good boy, but felt his father was ridiculously negative to him.

If he had a good game, his father would pick up all the bad habits or all the things he's seen bad.

Now, the father thinks he's helping him, but actually this kid's coming in now

you could see it he was just like the world and the weight on his shoulders and then you have to be involved and say look it's not I'm not saying the father's completely in the wrong he's trying to do what's best for you but actually what he's saying is not correct you've done very well here I've got the evidence I've got the games to prove how well you've done I'm happy with you I couldn't be more than happy with you what I'm seeing on you on a daily basis

I just need you to be happy.

I need you to smile because that's when you play your best.

When you've got all this going on in your head and you're listening to negative advice, it isn't going to help you in any favourable way.

So you try and, you know, there's like situations where a boy who came in late.

And like I said, there's all sorts of situations we can go into that I see on a regular basis.

But you have to understand the situations because you have to go back to what you know.

and also what you want for the player.

You want him to be the best human being he can be.
