Again, you know, all of those numbers, the aggregate might end up being worth something and we'll get some clients along the way and all of that will play out.
But at the end of the day, it's not a ratings play.
In my opinion, it looks more like a positive move forward for ARN post Kyle and Jackie O. And can we get back into the market and get involved with people that can really shape the way the company ends up looking moving forward?
No, I don't.
From my understanding, this idea has been pitched to other radio networks over the last couple of years.
And I would imagine that particularly Eddie may have come to Steve-O, who is the CEO of ARN, and said, hey, I can bring some corporate backing in and some potential clients.
And Stevo and Channel 9 can take this to market.
And I'm sure there will be some national brands that would like to be involved with Karl Stevanovic and Eddie McGuire.
So it might be a rev share deal.
It might be just a – they might share in the revenue upside.
There might be a small fee, but I don't imagine it would be a huge amount of money.
I would imagine it's more of a let's dip our toe in the water with this deal.
and see what this can become.
And potentially, you know, maybe 12 months down the track if they're really happy with how it sounds and the revenue implications that it might become five days a week or it might look like a slightly different model.
But I think it's early days, Friday afternoon, 12 till three, you can trial it and get a sense of what it might be capable of without sort of putting too much at risk.
I don't think there would be a lot of money on the table in terms of specific salaries for Eddie and Carl for this particular deal though.
Yeah, I mean, I guess for young people, YouTube is television, isn't it?
And YouTube is the number one search engine for podcasts.
So for anyone under 40, it's play on nothing new to see here, really.
And for people that are older, it's a different situation.
