We knew that Hearts had a good squad and was underperforming last season, but there's a good core that have been there.
And I'm talking like four, five, six seasons now.
Devlin, Halkett, these kind of players, Shankland, who are all performing much better than they were last season as well.
So those three things together have all sort of like a perfect mix for where Hearts are right now.
Yeah, I mean, for the reasons you say, and then even just psychologically, because I think, if I'm not mistaken, Celtic would have gone top of the league if they had won that game.
And they had just won five games in a row before they changed their manager going into that game as well.
So, yeah, it was a very... It was...
Both that and the subsequent result at Falkirk, because it's quite often that you see teams go to somewhere like Celtic Park and win and then not follow up against a so-called lesser team afterwards.
So both that and then going to Falkirk and winning in the conditions, it's certainly changed my mind.
I've been a title challenge sceptic this whole season and it's made me change my mind.
Not that Hearts are now title challengers, but I think they're...
I think they've shown that they've got some sort of staying power.
They'll be there at least until the last round of matches.
I think they'll go into that with a shout.
Yeah, but the last time the sides met, Shankland had a very good game.
He has been slightly hot and cold this season, although even though, I mean, overall he's been brilliant, but what I should be saying is there's been times where he's maybe not been as good in matches, but the difference last season is it's not as much as
attention on him because there's other players sharing the goal scoring burden to those you've mentioned there, Braga and Kizaridis.
That will likely be the front three.
Braga's probably the most in form out of those three and has played off the left more in the last...
Two most recent matches, and I think that that's possibly an area where Rangers could be got at.
